Recon Jet’s second season is underway. We want to make sure everyone running and riding with Jet this summer has a really awesome experience. That’s why we’ve rolled out new versions of ReconOS and Uplink. Both add polish, bug fixes, and new features.
Here’s what’s new in ReconOS 4.6:
- Three new video lengths: 2 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes. Jet still lets you record short clips that are perfect for Instagram and Twitter. But if you want to shoot longer videos, you can now do that, too. To change the video length limit, go to Settings > Camera on Jet. (Or, if you’re in the Camera app, hold select to call up the Action menu.)
- An activity tracking reminder. When your Jet gets a GPS location, it’ll check to see if you’re moving. If you are, and you haven’t started tracking your activity, you’ll get a reminder. We’ve heard that some folks occasionally forget to start activity tracking and don’t realize until it’s too late. This feature takes care of that.
Our second release this month is Uplink 1.2. And it’s a big one. We’ve totally retooled Uplink to give you the best possible experience. Everything from syncing to software updates has been optimized for speed and reliability. And, for extra security, Uplink now asks for your Engage login before syncing.
To get the new versions of Uplink and ReconOS, just connect your Jet to your computer. Uplink will update itself and download the new ReconOS automatically. If you don’t already have Uplink, grab it here.
