Nike Open Winter Dew Tour

For the first time ever the Recon team will be attending the Nike Open Winter Dew Tour at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado. The Nike Open is The Dew Tour's first event of the 2011-12 Winter Dew Tour season. It will take place over 4 days from December 15th-18th featuring Men's Freeskiing, Slopestyle and Pipe and Men's and Women's Snowboarding Slopestyle and Pipe.
Shaun White is back! The gold medal olympian will be returning after a two-year hiatus to reclaim the Dew Cup he won in the 2009-10 season. He'll be facing off against Louie Vito in the superpipe, who left Snowbasin last season with the Championship Title. Danny Davis is also confirmed to compete this season, which will be his first full year back on the contest circuit after suffering a back injury in early 2010. Freeskiing game-changer Simon Dumont is slated to compete, as well as Torin Yater-Wallace.The ladies will compete in snowboard superpipe and slopestyle in Breckenridge. Competition will be intense as Kelly Clark, Jamie Anderson and more of the top women’s winter athletes look to seize the opportunity to gain points towards the coveted Dew Cup.
