MOD Live 1.2.1 update

We're excited to release the latest software update for MOD Live. This update focuses on improved navigation & POI:

  • Navigation App improvements:
    • Track points of interest (POI)
    • Improved rotation
    • Quick access to your last chosen resort and your location
  • Jump feature improved
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes, stability and performance improvements

Download the latest version of the Recon HQ software now and connect your MOD Live to download and install the new firmware update.

How to update your MOD Live

  • Step 1: Plug in your MOD Live and power it on
  • Step 2: Open the Recon HQ software
  • Step 3: Follow the onscreen software update procedure

Hi Kit, I know we've replied already through the support section, but we thought we should let everyone else know too:

 

At this time our products are designed specifically for alpine use and haven't been tested for the very specific data needed your segment, therefore we can't endorse its use for paragliding. However, we are actively exploring applications for our product line in all sporting environments. 
 
With that said, we are currently looking to recruit and build an exclusive community where these new ideas and potential applications of our technology will be reviewed, discussed, debated and ultimately put to the test. Visit http://www.reconinstruments.com/recruits for more info. 
 
In addition, we are launching this year a Software Development Kit for developers to build customized apps for MOD Live. Our continual goal is to use this open platform to have customized applications to cater to various sports. To whom it may concern!

 

Hi! My name is Kit from San Francisco! but I work in HK and I'm a tandem paragliding pilot. I really like your goggle and I have been thinking to have one more than one yars ago! However your first few versions do have navigation informations. How, I saw your MOD live comes with map. It is good enough in sky sports already! I just need the speed, altitude, and directions. And I found a shop nearby my house which has the last one. I asked them to hold that last one for me!

But my questions are,

1) I just go for this one or wait for your new version??

 

2) Does it work in other countries?
